Are you brave enough to row across the Atlantic? Facing storms and waves 40 feet high, sleep deprivation, blisters, the unknown wildlife beneath you, and the many challenging elements of the Atlantic Ocean?
These 3 women aren’t afraid! They will be the oldest female crew attempting the world’s toughest race!
If this doesn’t inspire you to take your next adventure trip, we don’t know what will.
Di Carrington, Sharon Magrath, and Elaine Theaker will be taking to the seas for 70+ days departing in Spain and arriving in Antigua—that’s a total of 3,000 miles! They will be racing alongside 30 other teams from around the world in the 2017 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.
These women aren’t afraid of the challenge and aren’t letting age stand in their way.
“This challenge for me is about celebrating life and showing that you are never too old to learn something new and to challenge yourself,” says Magrath.
We’ll be cheering the Atlantic Ladies on as they make the trek. We’re delighted to help connect them with their loved ones back home at the end of their race. After the exhaustion of rowing across an ocean, the last thing they need to worry about is how they’re going to call home.
We wish you ladies the best of luck!
You can follow their journey and cheer them on through their Facebook page and their blog.
